Legal
By accessing or using Quolle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quolle.
Quolle is a transactional email API built to enable businesses to send transactional email on behalf of their verified domains. The Service provides a REST API, SMTP relay, and related tooling for the programmatic delivery of transactional messages.
Quolle is a transactional email service. You may use Quolle only to send transactional messages — emails triggered by, and directly relating to, a specific action or relationship between you and the recipient. Permitted message types include account verification and one-time passcodes, password resets, receipts and payment confirmations, security and account notifications, and similar service-related communications.
You may not use Quolle to send marketing, promotional, advertising, or bulk email, including newsletters, sales or promotional campaigns, or any unsolicited commercial messages.
You may send only to recipients with whom you have a direct relationship and who have a reasonable expectation of receiving the message. You may not send to recipients on purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise non-consensually obtained lists.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to contact each recipient and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations governing electronic communications in the recipient's jurisdiction.
We monitor sending activity for compliance with this policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, with or without notice, any account that violates this Acceptable Use Policy or that generates bounce or complaint rates we consider harmful to the integrity of the service. Our reputation-protection systems may automatically pause sending for accounts exhibiting patterns inconsistent with transactional use.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must not share API keys or account access with unauthorised parties. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at legal@quolle.com.
You must have a lawful basis to contact each recipient. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction and the recipients' jurisdictions, including the Nigerian Data Protection Act (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and any other applicable electronic communications laws.
Quolle may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or if your account's sending behaviour poses a risk to the integrity or reputation of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Quolle makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We do not guarantee any specific uptime level.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quolle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. In no event shall Quolle's total liability to you exceed the fees you paid to Quolle in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Quolle may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
